佼成出版社は、当社の事業活動を行っていく上で、皆様から提供された個人情報を保護することが重要であると認識し、個人情報の保護に関する法律および関連法令等を遵守することにより、個人情報の適正な収集・利用・安全管理を目指し、その実現のために以下の事項に取組むとともに、役員はじめすべての従業員に周知徹底を図ります。

（１）「個人情報保護に関する規程」を定め、当社役員をはじめ従業員に周知を徹底いたします。また、取引先等についても個人情報の取扱いについて法令等を遵守することを要請するとともに、必要に応じ監督・指導・協議をいたします。

（２）個人情報管理責任者を置き、個人情報の取扱い等について安全管理体制を実効あるものといたします。

（３）個人情報の収集に際しては、あらかじめ収集・利用目的をお知らせするとともに、その範囲における適正利用をいたします。また、当初の範囲を超えて取り扱う場合には改めて本人の同意を得るなど規程に従った対応を行います。

（４）個人情報の取り扱いを外部に委託する場合は、当社規定の適正な委託先を選定するとともに、個人情報保護に関する契約を委託先と取り交わし、個人情報の適切な管理を実施させます。

（５）ご提供いただいた個人情報は、法令による場合等正当な理由がある場合を除き、業務委託先以外の第三者へ提供することをいたしません｡

（６）個人情報の改ざん・漏洩・不正アクセス等を防止するために、人的・技術的に必要な安全対策を講じます。

（7）当社の保有個人データについて、その情報をご提供いただいた本人から、開示・訂正・削除・利用停止の申し出があった場合は、迅速な処理を心がけ法令に則り速やかな対応をするようにいたします。

（８）当社が策定した個人情報の安全管理等に関する規程や社内ルール（コンプライアンス・プログラム）については、その実効性が継続されるよう従業員等に周知を行い、適宜見直し、安全管理体制の維持に努めます。

In order to satisfactorily conduct its business enterprises, Kosei Publishing Company recognizes the importance of protecting all private personal information provided to the company by its clients and customers, and we make all its executives and employees understand its importance thoroughly. Following the passage of a law in Japan strengthening regulations for the protection of personal information and its relevant specific conditions, the company has sought the best ways for ensuring the security of the personal information it obtains and uses. The company will require agreement in advance from the third party that the information will be treated with maximum care to ensure that its security is not breached.

(5) The company will not disclose any personal information in its possession to any third party with which it is not engaged in business activities. However, in a case that involves a possible transgression of Japanese laws, the company will allow personal information to be shown to a relevant third party with which it is not engaged in business activities.

(6) In order to prevent falsification, leakage, and illegal access to personal information, we will take necessary safety measures on a personal and technological level.

(7) The company will deal promptly, in compliance with relevant Japanese laws, with requests from clients or customers who wish to know what personal information of theirs is in the company’s possession or who ask that such information be corrected, deleted, or no longer used.

(8) The company will take ongoing steps to ensure compliance with its internal regulations for the protection of private personal information and to determine that the regulations effectively fulfill their purpose. These steps will be disseminated throughout the company and the regulations will be strengthened or revised when and if that is found to be necessary.

(9) In our digital contents distribution service, we collect information about our clients and customers which we could be identified directly or indirectly in order to understand and improve our digital service to them. The collected information is used for the following purpose: service provided for members registered in our digital contents delivery service; a report to the customers who provided the information by the questionnaire; sending information via e-mail, providing an ad (behavioral targeting ad) to our product, and measuring its effectiveness; the improvement of our digital contents delivery service; and so on.

(10) The Website automatically collects browsing statistics for the purpose of managing the Website and analyzing usage. This enables the Company to obtain statistical data regarding IP addresses, pages visited, the amount of time spent on each page, URLs entered immediately prior to accessing each website, page transition trends, and operating systems. Although the use of this information does not involve linking to personal information, IP addresses and other information may be used to help detect so-called blog spammers and the like.
